Thought For the Day: Internet and Innovation should have no boundaries
Inbound Marketing

I started writing this article in the last month in the year 2018, a lot of things have changed so I am trying to update this piece of content ready for the year 2024. Inbound Marketing is a great technique to generate leads for your business but you can be at a loss too if it’s not used effectively. Is your inbound marketing strategy ready?

Here are some of the key Inbound Marketing strategies that Marketing professionals can utilize in the year 2024.

1. Generate Quality Content

It is rightly said that content is king and the business professionals who know the importance of generating good quality content are far more successful than those who don’t. Companies and businesses that don’t have a blog and long-form content will find a hard time generating online leads.

Just like a blog here are some other forms of content you can focus on:

  • Videos
  • Infographics
  • Polls
  • Events
  • Interviews
  • Quiz

Just make sure it’s mobile-friendly, Always

2. Collect Customer Details

Knowing your audience is very important, and that means you should collect details of your customers to give them a personalized experience.

Generating customer details can be done by applying forms to your landing pages and when a customer fills it you will have that detail.

NOTE: You should ask for consent from your customers when they fill out the form on your page.

3.  Make your Website Responsive

By now, it’s no secret that the responsive design of your website is a key to attracting and retaining your customers. Nowadays people are accessing the internet on various devices such as PCS, laptops, and tablets and all these devices have different screen sizes. The best part of a responsive website is that it adjusts itself according to the screen size of the device and fits accurately. So the next time when you are updating your website make sure it’s responsive.

4. Increase the Quantity of Content

It’s not only about the quality of content but quantity also plays a major role in increasing inbound leads. Suppose you have a food product and you want to sell it online and you have written 5 posts about it but your competitor also has that food product and has written 50 posts about it chances are that your competitor’s online visibility is higher. It is because search engines work on the theory to provide the most relevant content based on the keywords users search and the one with more posts will have more keywords than the one with fewer posts.

5. Nurturing Your Leads

Once you have acquired a lead, you should concentrate on nurturing that lead by engaging him in various activities such as

  • Quiz
  • Games
  • Free Trials and offers
  • Polls
  • Events

Inbound marketing doesn’t end when you acquire a lead and thus nurturing a lead will play a significant role in inbound marketing strategy.

All companies are running towards increasing their online network so that they can promote their product or services over that network.
