top-7-business-mistakes

I started content writing back in the year 2016 when I learnt about Digital Marketing. Along my journey I made up many mistakes but it’s a vital element in growing. The biggest of them all is Writing and publishing content without keeping your audience in mind.

I even hired a professional for content writing but I was out of funds. I am not from a business family but I had a goal ” To create a business”

BUT THE IRONY IS

1. Only Goal is not enough

Goal alone is not enough, you must have a mentor to guide you along the way. Mentors are essential as they give you direction in your business journey.

2. Funds manage business

No matter how big or small a business is; without funds it cannot grow. Even if you are an internet marketing service using open source technologies, you have to spent on domain and hosting, security, broadband/ internet, content writing and the most precious of them all your TIME.

3. Avoid Micromanaging ( Don’t be a One man Army )

It might sound fascinating but in reality it’s like climbing a Mount Everest without any accessories and fellow trekkers. Humans are not for micromanaging and you have to be a superhuman if you want to manage it all on your own.

Even if you deploy automation it requires a team to manage it effectively.

4. Fear or Insecurity

Fear or insecurity of any kind will kill your business. Out of fear or anxiety you might take some decisions that can create a misunderstanding among your staff and clients even if your intentions are towards mutual growth.

5. Networking with right people

Internet is a world where people are from every profession. And if you are not with your community or tribe you might end up baffled. When you are offering something that is not meant for them and you end up with zero sales.

6. Enhance your Network Security

While developing DigiPro Marketers I learned that nobody is 100% secure ( it can be 99.99 %) but even then there is a hacking percentage of 0.01%. Yes loopholes exist in every system, and hackers are always looking to attack the vulnerabilities in your system. ( NOTE: Please don’t confuse the term hacker with growth hacker both are different)

7. Identify your Product or Service

Actually this should be the first point but I kept it late so that the readers who are serious and still with me got all the points covered. For Instance there is a boy who just wrote a blog keeping no product in mind, he will only mess up things. He can create a huge data set by analyzing content and visitor metrics but ultimately he will not be able to generate enough revenue to sustain his blog.

Final Thoughts

After making all these 7 top business mistakes one thing that i achieved is EXPERIENCE. Making mistakes is good but ensure You should not repeat same mistakes again and again.
